		<description><![CDATA[Well, I was &quot;happy&quot; to try to do something about it.  But, as I&#039;ve pointed out repeatedly, the current situation is not a wash.

First, it costs us in both money and privacy.

Secondly, it actively makes us less secure, as citizens, as visitors, or as passengers.

That our government is like the weather may be true, but hopefully the collective wisdom will eventually prevail.
