Last month, the U.S. Government announced its "Trusted Internet Connections" initiative to reduce its total number of Internet connections to a target total of 50. The goal: to reduce the attack surface of the federal government.

This is a really interesting, potentially useful initiative. I wonder how many connections they have now.

It seems strange that the coverage on the initiative is/was extremely light.
