In a pretty bold move, it appears that Symantec is going to call the "legitimate" spyware community’s bluff and see what kind of a hand they are holding. They are suing Hotbar, not for money, but for clarity. They are asking a judge to let them define Hotbar as spyware/adware and allow them to remove it.

Things are getting interesting.
