I am putting together a presentation on RFID security (no, not RFID privacy – RFID security) and came across a recent article in InformationWeek with this quote:

The specifications are heralded as the first UHF RFID open architecture completely designed by a committee.

The whole "committee" comment just gives me the shivers.
