I have (apparently, since it is not something I "turned on") a filter running on my Outlook Inbox to send possible spam to my Junk E-mail folder. In my most recent go-round, I was amused to see an email from nCircle (a vulnerability assessment company) – not something that I would consider spam, at least by my definition (though I don’t recall asking for the email from nCircle).

The subject of the email: " Reduce False Positive IDS Reports". Ahhh, the irony.
