Some people have too much time on their hands. This spam strikeback screensaver idea from Lycos is sort of like the plots people hatch to rob drug dealers – relying on the possibility that the bad guys won’t report a crime. Of course, if they get caught by the bad guys, or they bad guys aren’t really bad guys due to a mixup… oh, well, lots of potential problems with this idea. I can’t imagine any enterprise would allow anything like this, and I hope individual participants understand that this could make them a target as well.

Lycos must be concerned about all the attention the "other" search engines are getting and decided to refocus on security (like all the other vendors ).
