I was having a conversation recently where the other person built what I thought was an interesting case that vulnerability finders and ‘sploiters (oh, do I feel cool writing that word) are helping Microsoft. The argument goes that vulnerabilities and sploits create a ‘necessary upgrade’ path for MS customers. So, all you full disclosers out there, think of that the next time you find a new vulnerability.
