Can the Chinese use longer passwords?

I have no idea… but I found this interesting:

"Because Chinese number words are so brief—they take less than a quarter of a
second to say, on average, compared with a third of a second for English—the
average Chinese speaker has a memory span of nine digits, versus seven digits
for English speakers."

It’s interesting because it shows that memory for numbers is connected with the sense of hearing or with language. Remembering other things often seems related to visual imagery or non-auditory, non-language abilities.
