I was reading TaoSecurity’s blog and this quote from F-Secure caught my eye:

"’The WMF vulnerability’ probably affects more computers than any other security vulnerability, ever."

First, I confirmed the quote (which also points out that it isn’t a "bug" it’s a feature). Then, I realized that their logic appeared sound. Then, I realized that it is likely that one will be able to make this claim about many vulnerabilities into the future, given the rate of increase in new PCs vs. the slowly diminishing old stuff.

Not as big a deal as I thought.
