    Yeah, I made the pretty much same point about the pre-auth Microsoft SQL Server buffer overflow in 2003. After all, there were only a couple thousand vulnerable hosts.

    Oh, wait, no I didn’t. Wow, I would have looked dumb today if I had! *Whew*.

    Yes, you would have looked dumb. It is clearly a good thing that the WMF class of exploits and the corresponding vulnerability aren’t as significant or I might look dumb, too. *Whew*. Who knows, a different exploit/attack vector may even increase my concern.
