Wi-Fi Jamming – When a Rogue Isn’t A Rogue

We are all interested in protecting our wireless networks, and some are considering ways to "jam" signals and knock a device out of the air. But what happens when we are in close proximity to other networks and sharing airspace? Can we execute what is effectively a denial-of-service attack against a device just on the possibility that it could access our network?

A rogue is not a rogue when it is a neighbor. The Welcome Wagon may need to get involved here unless we rethink our approach to prevention.

What if the leaves from my tree fall in your yard? It’s an exercise in getting along, isn’t it?
