Airport Security Complaints – Getting Old

I am getting tired of the neverending complaints around airport security. It reminds me of my nagging wife mother neighbor – on and on with the complaining. We have to just get over it – it’s not that big a deal. Think about it as "comfort food" in a situation where just about anyone could probably succeed if they really wanted to.  Anyway, there needs to be a public-facing activity for people to both appreciate and complain about in order for all the covert stuff to happen ;-)

Well, I was “happy” to try to do something about it. But, as I’ve pointed out repeatedly, the current situation is not a wash.

First, it costs us in both money and privacy.

Secondly, it actively makes us less secure, as citizens, as visitors, or as passengers.

That our government is like the weather may be true, but hopefully the collective wisdom will eventually prevail.
